A- The benefits include the following:
A- Mobile grooming is a private one-on-one service unlike going to a salon. We come to you, and once your pet enters our truck we cater to them during the whole process. There's no waiting in cages for hours unlike a regular salon. No other pets are near to cause them stress. Many salons groom as many as 15 to 30 plus pets per day. Our service is designed to be a private luxury service. This means there is no cage drying and your pet is worked on from start to finish with no distractions. This limits the amount of pets we can schedule each day, therefore the price reflects the time spendt with your pet.
A- The cost is based on several factors, including: the package you would like for your dog, the breed of the dog, the condition of the coat, and the pet's behavior. All pets are different. As hard as you try to describe your dog, their hair, behavior, and what you'd like done over the phone, without seeing your dog or meeting them, we cannot give you an exact price over the phone- only an educated approximation.
A- Because it hurts, A LOT! It's not fair to the dog! We will try our best to save as much as the coat as possible and use a deep conditioner that works to detangle the hair. But brushing out matting also makes your pet dread the grooming process, as they associate being in pain with it each time. Weeks or months-worth of mat build up can not be removed in one grooming session. We will always choose humanity over vanity. If the dog has a mat or two, that is a different story- we will do our best to remove the mat and continue on with the haircut.
A- Because we reserve the time for you specifically, and because you are grouped in a route, if you need to cancel/ reschedule we ask for 48 hours notice without a cancellation fee. This will allow enough time for us to find a replacement dog to be groomed. We count on a full route for our income. If we do not have 48 hours notice, there will be a cancellation fee.
However, if you are feeling sick or have any COVID-19 related symptoms please contact us and we will reschedule the appointment for when you are feeling better. Please be safe!!!
A- That's the beauty of mobile grooming- no! Once we've met and we're on the same page as to what you would like for a haircut, then you do not need to be present for appointments if your schedule requires otherwise. Latch Key service is always available!
A- We work on your pet as soon as we bring them into the mobile spa. Most dogs take us anywhere from 30 minutes to an 90 minutes for the bath package. However, our appointments can vary for a variety of factors: what package you'd like, your dogs breed, length of coat, and their temperment. Once we meet your dog and get to know them we will be able to give you a more accurate time frame.
A- In order to maintain a healthy and manageable coat, it is recommended that you have your dog groomed every 4, 6, or 8 weeks. This will keep your dogs fur or hair from getting painfully matted. Dogs that shed a lot will also be better maintained by a regular schedule and shedding will be diminished if groomed regularly. Every dog is a little different, and each owner's lifestyle is different, so our we are trained to give you a recommendation on the proper groom frequency for your pet.
A- Our job is to help you maintain your dog's coat properly. Once we groom your pet, we can give you guidance on how often your dog should be groomed. By going on a recurring cycle, you always have your spot reserved on our schedule.
Dogs that are groomed on a regular schedule view grooming as routine and part of their life, and not only accept it but come to enjoy it. Regular grooming is essential to having healthy skin and coat, which prevents mats from forming.
